Presented by Jae-Yung Kwon RN, PhD (Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria). This video is offered as part of Dr. Kwon’s post-doctoral fellowship with the BC Office of Patient-Centred Measurement (BC OPCM) and the Trinity Western University School of Nursing with funding from the BC SUPPORT Unit. The purpose of the video is to provide guidance on the use of two commonly used generic patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in patient-centred measurement health surveys: The VR-12 and the EQ-5D-5L. Dr. Kwon presents results of his comparative analysis of both PROMs using BC OPCM survey data, linked with administrative health data.
